Training consists of 3 mandatory parts that you must complete in order to become a fully trained ADI:
Part 1
Instructional theory test
Part 2
Extended driving test
Part 3
Instructors teaching assessment
Our support package
By training to become a driving instructor with us we provide you with:
Part 1 resources including the Highway Code, Hazard Perception DVD and Instructors handbook
15 hours in car training to help you get to test standard ready for your part 2 driving test. You will also have free use of our tuition vehicles for your practical test included
40 hours of 1-1 in car instructor training with one of our A grade instructors and a free DITA training Aid teaching resource. We also provide you a training folder with session planning guides to use as part of your training.
Pink Badge Training Scheme
Upon completion of your part 1 and 2 you will have the opportunity to work for 6 months on a pink training badge in order to build up experience prior to the completion of your part 3 test. This is a perfect opportunity for you to earn whilst you learn and build your confidence whilst teaching
(Extra 20 hours 1-1 training is required as terms of DVSA pink badge scheme)
Ongoing Support
During the training process and beyond we can support you with a full diary of work, provide a vehicle to teach in and ongoing training to help you develop your skills.
